What is a trial run? A trial run is a great chance to preview the style of hair and makeup that you envision for your wedding day. It is so beneficial because it allows you to see how the style will compliment the dress and jewelry. The dress is an investment on your wedding day, so should your hair and makeup.
Arrive with a makeup-free face with only moisturizer on.
Have some makeup looks that inspire you? Bring those so the artist can see your sense of style.
Wash hair the day before. Formal styles require curl and teasing. This is best done on hair that has been washed the day before.
Bring any hair accessories that you will be wearing i.e.veil, hair jewels etc.
We will record the products used so we have it for the wedding day.
We encourage you to bring up to 1 other person along with you that you feel comfortable with and who understands your style.
Absolutely breathtaking views of River Oaks Charleston was the backdrop for this shoot. The color scheme went so perfectly with the gorgeous brunette model. The blue hue of this dress just pops off the screen and the photography of Live View Studios captures the romantic feel of this whole inspiration shoot.

Okay ladies…Aside from the fact that hanging out with these hunky, courageous men was quite the job perk, it also taught me a lot about how these men and women dig deep and train hard through grueling temperatures with their heavy gear day in and day out to protect their community.
Among the 13 men and 2 lady firefighters, I had the honor to meet Art Whittner a veteran fireman that was spared because he had drawn pump duty on the horrific day we lost 9 of Charleston’s most courageous. I never knew that I would be touched in such a way by such a profound gentleman. He spoke so eloquently about that night and I had that moment in my career where I felt pretty special being involved in a project that uplifted so many!

I think it will be a great night for all the ladies to come to the debut event for such a great cause and a lot of fun.
Caitlin’s engagement session at Palmetto Landing was on The Wedding Row! Don’t you just love how Aaron Nicholas Photography captured the lighting of this beautiful private Charleston home turned venue? Just love the Verandas and the backdrop of water and the dock. Aside from being just gorgeous, Caitlin was the sweetest southern bride!
What an honor to be asked to style these ladies for the Lovely Find blog! We had such a fun day. First off, we all had a wonderful time getting the ladies ready (behind the scenes photos to follow) in our private studio. It was a warm December day which was good for the gals standing in their sleeveless dresses! I just loved all the touches that Amy the Senior Editor selected. The theme was a vintage inspired holiday. The color palettes she chose was gorgeous. Oh and the Bentley was such a nice touch as well! Enjoy…

Love to get beautiful pics of our past weddings and this is no exception. I even love it more when our brides get featured. This time it was for Borrowed and Blue. What a wonderful way to spend our Mothers Day this past May. We met these gals downtown Charleston for their beautiful wedding at Lowndes Grove. It was such a gorgeous sunny day and we started early right at 8:00 am! What a way to rise and shine!!

We love what we do and boy do we have some fun…We had the pleasure of styling a wedding this past May at The Francis Marion Hotel. This lavish event was planned by Southern Protocol. There were 17 photographers snapping pictures! The husband and wife duo of Bob and Dawn Davis Photography brought their own Paparazzi! They have styled celebrity weddings and Jenni and Stevn were definitely celebrities here in the Holy City!!
We came up with our signature slogan “Tease it to Jesus” from creating the big hair Jenni requested. The bigger the hair, the closer to God…. Tease it to Jesus!
